Coffee Afrik grew out of the Somali community in East London. This young collective now works with marginalised groups across the area. They collaborate with women, young people, and people recently released from prison. Coffee Afrik provides vital services to these communities, but they also build knowledge and connection in the pursuit of power. This is already making a difference. For example, they are part of a team transforming youth provision in Greenwich. The Community Action Fund will help bolster their organising and influencing work.
